The Neue Schule Team Up Loose Ring is ergonomically designed to give even and gentle weight distribution and avoid tongue evasion and over-active mouths. The Team Up bit is curved to align comfortably under the horse's upper palate, and helps encourage a consistent soft contact. The symmetrically curved arms are able to accommodate a larger or more sensitive tongue, and subtle pressure on the cheeks helps reinforce the turning aid. The Team Up mouthpiece features a lozenge centre, which uses gentle tongue pressure to promote mouthing and salivation whilst reducing contact with the palette.

The Loose Ring design also allows the bit to be more mobile in the mouth, encouraging the horse to relax the jaw and mouth the bit, whilst helping to prevent leaning. Neue Schule bits are made from Salox Gold, a unique engineering metal that rapidly reaches body temperature, vastly improving comfort in the horse's mouth. This material is also softer than traditional stainless steel, reducing 'jarring' and tooth wear by absorbing impact forces into the bit rather than the teeth. By creating a warmer and softer feeling in the horse's mouth, this bit helps promote a soft and consistent contact, encouraging relaxed acceptance of the bit.
