Shires Comfort Grazing Muzzle

Proven to help with controlled or restricted feeding regimes and special diets, the Shires Comfort Grazing Muzzle has enhanced comfort and wearability for your horse. Cut back under the chin to avoid pressure and improve the fit, featuring comfort padding. Fully adjustable padded head and throat straps with field safe fastenings and D-ring for leading. Rubber base with a hole for grass to enter, and reinforced nylon web bars for free air exchange.

"These are by far the best grazing muzzles on the market. I should know, I have used lots of different ones. They fit well, and most importantly the velcro fastening is very secure. In comparison with other muzzles the horses don't get bad sores round their nose and lips. One of ours gets a bit sore but that is easily sorted with a bit of sudocreme. I use the ones without the fleece padding as they don't get rubbed at all in that area so the padding is unnecessary. They are a much better solution to summer weight gain than restricted grazing - no fences to worry about and they can move around a bigger area. Once the horses are used to the muzzles - it only takes a day or so - I honestly don't think they realize they have them on."
